Sculptor Giambologna three figures are constructed on a vortex that invites the observer to move around statue and offers infinite intertwined figure compositions and sculptural view points of his sculpture. Our sculpture rape of the Sabine Women by Giambologna was an incident from Roman mythology, and this sculpture is found in Florence, in which the men of Rome committed a mass abduction has been a frequent subject of artists, particularly during the Renaissance and post-Renaissance eras. Use of the word "rape" comes from the conventional translation of the Latin word used in the ancient accounts of the incident. The original plaster cast can be seen when you enter the Accademia Gallery, the cast depict three figures connected by a serpentine shaped movement.
